Meet Our Leadership

Terdell Moore, PE
CEO 
Mr. Moore has over 25 years of experience in management, engineering, systems design, and construction.  At GEC, Moore is responsible for company vision, strategy, client acquisition, and execution.  Moore has a proven track record of providing technical leadership in multidisciplinary team environments.  He is a strong believer that first truly understanding the task and then over-communicating while addressing the task is essential to team growth, a successful project, a strong company and is key to a satisfied clientele.

Previously, Moore served as a Enterprise Integration Manager and Project Manager for UCOR where he was responsible for multiple high visibility projects including facilitating design, procurement, installation and quality at various Cat 2 and Cat 3 facilities in Oak Ridge Tn.  Before joining UCOR, Moore was a Senior Electrical Engineer on the $6.5 billion Uranium Processing Facility Project while at Bechtel National.  He oversaw all design efforts for Physical Security System, Communications, Emergency notification and Criticality Alarm systems.  Moore began his career designing high-end Audio Video Theatrical lighting systems for large houses of worship and other entertainment venues at Clark Promedia in Atlanta, GA.

Moore is a Certified Safety Trained Supervisor (STSC) in addition to a Registered Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering earning his BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.  Moore is a proud member of the military brat community and was privileged to live in various countries around the world including his high school years in Bavaria Germany.  Moore lives in Knoxville with his wife Kourtnie, his two sons Christian and Gabriel and two fur babies, Bama and Max.

Heath Ellison, PE
COO 
Mr. Ellison has over 20 years of experience in engineering design, project management, and as an SME.  Ellison's ability to assess and provide meaningful process and procedural improvements has been vital throughout his career.  As the Chief Operations Officer, Ellison is responsible for overall execution of talent acquisition, technical evaluations, and budgeting. 

​

Currently, Ellison has been selected as the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for the $6.5 billion UPF project in Oak Ridge, TN.  As AHJ, he is responsible for any and all compliance of the project to the NEC standards.  Previously, Ellison held multiple positions at UCOR in Oak Ridge including AHJ and Project Manager of the high-risk Continuous Purge system at an operating CAT 2 nuclear facility.  Prior to working at UCOR, Ellison spent time as a Senior Electrical Engineer and SME at Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin TN.  Ellison started his career in Oak Ridge working as an engineer supporting CAT 2 and CAT 3 facilities throughout NNSA facilities in Oak Ridge.

Ellison is a Registered Professional Engineer and LEED Certified Professional.   He has earned an MBA from Tennessee Technological University and a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Religion from Clemson University.  Ellison is a true Tiger fan and loves to travel with his wife Heidi.  Ellison lives in Powell with his wife, and two dogs.

Kourtnie Moore, CPA
CAO
Mrs. Moore has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting management for fortune 500 companies.  Her level of detail and persistence to get things right has served her well throughout her career.  As the Chief Accounting Officer, she is responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the company.  

​

Currently, Moore also serves as an accounting Manager for Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD), a lifestyle media conglomerate and she has responsibilities for various channels and talent within the organization including financial reporting, SEC compliance, and bookkeeping.  Previously, Moore held a senior level accounting position with Kids II, a kids product company with products like Baby Einstein, Bright Starts, Boppy, etc based out of Atlanta, Ga.  Prior to moving to Georgia, Mrs. Moore was an accountant at a non-profit in Los Angeles California where she is a native.  

​

Moore is a Certified Public Accountant and has earned two BS degrees in Accounting and Information Technology from DeVry University.  Moore is an avid bowler and loves her family.  Moore lives in Knoxville with her husband, Terdell, her two sons Christian and Gabriel, and two dogs, Bama and Max.
